Zusammenfassung
Zur Diskussion gestellt werden fünf Ansätze zur Erklärung des Zusammenwirkens von Sprache, Emotion und Kognition. Je nach der Verwendungsweise der Emotionswörter zeigen die Ansätze unterschiedliche Emotionskonzepte. Für jeden Ansatz werden die theoretischen und forschungspraktischen Konsequenzen für die Psycholinguistik herausgearbeitet. Darauf aufbauend wird zum Zusammenwirken sprachlicher und emotionaler Prozesse ein dreigliedriges Emotionskonzept entwickelt: Das Attribut “emotional” läßt sich beziehen (a) auf das Subjekt der Sprachtätigkeit (Zustand des Individuums), (b) auf das Objekt der Sprachtätigkeit (Bedeutung von Gegenständen/Personen/Wörtern für das Individuum), und (c) auf die Subjekt-Objekt-Interaktion im Verlauf der Sprachtätigkeit (z.B. Präferenz für Gegenstände/Personen/Wörter bei der Sprachrezeption und -produktion). Somit hängen die Erkenntnisse über das Zusammenwirken von Sprache und Emotion von der Entscheidung ab, welche dieser Referenzebenen den Forschungsschwerpunkt bilden.
