Alkene aus Tosylhydrazonen p-Toluolsulfonylhydrazone 1 (im allgemeinen abgekürzt Tosylhydrazone genannt) aliphatischer Ketone liefern bei Behandlung mit Basen Alkene 2. Die Reaktion wird als Bamford-Stevens-Reaktion 1–3) bezeichnet.
