Zusammenfassung
Die Fülle der täglichen Information für einen Wissenschaftler scheint unüberschaubar. Seit einigen Jahren können zur Bewältigung dieser Informationsflut jedoch Hilfsmittel benutzt werden, die die Auswahl von Informationsquellen, die Selektion von Information oder die Einbindung von selektierter Information in die eigenen Datenbestände unterstützen.
Dieser Beitrag stellt eine überarbeitete Form eines Vortrages auf dem Expertenhearing in Bonn 1990 dar.
