Zusammenfassung

Eine der wichtigsten Voraussetzungen für qualitativ hochwertige und wirtschaftliche Behandlungsergebnisse ist die Auswahl geeigneter Leistungseibringer, mit denen eine MCO Versorgungsverträge abschließt (selektives Kontrahieren). Der Abschluß selektiver Verträge ist so bedeutsam für Managed Care, daß dieses Merkmal in Teilen der Literatur wie auch von uns als ein entscheidendes Merkmal fur die Definition von Managed Care herangezogen wird.
