Zusammenfassung
Bei den radikalen Veränderungen von wirtschaftliche Abläufen, der Form von Unternehmensorganisation und -strategien handelt es sich um das Thema in den Wirtschaftswissenschaften, dem gegenwärtig die größte Beachtung zu Teil wird. Bezüglich der Grundlagen der Internetwirtschaft stehen neue Regeln und Strategien im Mittelpunkt des Interesses.1 Eine systematische Analyse der Verankerung der „New Economy“ in Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft, in Standorten und Regionen steht dagegen noch am Anfang. In dem folgenden Beitrag werden ein Bezugsrahmen der Analyse der Intemetökonomie skizziert und exemplarisch Ergebnisse einer die Entwicklung eines standort- und unternehmensbezogenen Benchmarkingverfahrens für Medien-, Informations- und Kommunikationsdienstleistungen2 vorbereitenden New-York-Studie3 vorgestellt.
