Von osteuropäischer Seite ist mit “Europäisierung” gemeint, was auch mit der Metapher “Rückkehr nach Europa” konnotiert wird: Schaffung von Wohlstand und prosperierenden Ökonomien, Herstellung demokratischer Verhältnisse, Integration in (west)europäische wirtschaftliche und sicherheitspolitische Zusammenhänge.1
