Zusammenfassung

Eine neue Form des HIV (Humanes Immunmangel-Virus), HIV-2, ist in der Bundesrepublik aufgetreten und wirft Fragen der Serodiagnostik auf. Zwangsläufig ergeben sich aus Zufallsbeobachtungen zwingende Notwendigkeiten, die vor allem die Sicherheit der Blutprodukte, aber auch der ganzen HIV-Diagnostik betreffen.
