Abstract

In an exposure of the Argonne National Laboratory 12 foot hydrogen and deuterium filled bubble chamber to a neutrino beam, a search was made for dilepton events. One such event was found and the mass of the hadronic system is estimated to be about 2 GeV.

  9. We would expect to detect roughly one ̄v e event in the entire film sample. One event with an energy of ~ 0.6 GeV and giving a zero constraint solution to ̄v e d → e+π- nps with an identified positron (P = 142 MeV/c) and an identified π- as well as a short spectator proton has been found.
