Abstract
In an exposure of the Argonne National Laboratory 12 foot hydrogen and deuterium filled bubble chamber to a neutrino beam, a search was made for dilepton events. One such event was found and the mass of the hadronic system is estimated to be about 2 GeV.

Our single-pion reactions were discussed in S. J. Barish et al., Phys. Rev. Letters 36, 179 (1976).
We would expect to detect roughly one ̄v e event in the entire film sample. One event with an energy of ~ 0.6 GeV and giving a zero constraint solution to ̄v e d → e+π- nps with an identified positron (P = 142 MeV/c) and an identified π- as well as a short spectator proton has been found.
Assuming a spectator neutron along the beam of ~ 300 MeV/c, it is possible to put a ~ 400 MeV/c K° directly along the beam direction and obtain a mass of 2.425 Gev/c2.
The phase space prediction for the 3 pion effective mass while broad does peak near the eta mass and thus evidence for the eta is not compelling.
