Zusammenfassung
Obwohl immer aufmerksam die wissenschaftlichen Strömungen verfolgend — vor allem wenn es sich um aus dem englischsprachigen Raum stammende, auf -ing endende Bezeichnungen handelt — ist Dieter Schneider auf das Controlling erst relativ spät aufmerksam geworden, zu einem Zeitpunkt nämlich, als dieses Gebiet in der Praxis bereits fest etabliert war und zu dessen theoretischer Absicherung an den Universitäten mehrere Lehrstühle eingerichtet waren.
