Zusammenfassung

Die Auseinandersetzung mit Prozessen des organisationalen Lernens setzt an der gestiegenen Bedeutung von Anpassungs- und Entwicklungsprozessen in und von Organisationen an. Veränderungen der Umwelt werden immer weniger vorherseh- und prognostizierbar. Steigende Komplexität, Diskontinuität und Dynamik bezeichnen wesentliche Charakteristika der Unternehmensumwelt, und die Überlebensfähigkeit von Unternehmen hängt entscheidend davon ab, ob Unternehmen in der Lage sind, sich permanent (weiter) zu entwickeln und sich sowohl reaktiv als auch proaktiv an Veränderungen der Umwelt anzupassen.
