Zusammenfassung

Die Qualität der Beziehung zwischen Therapeut und Klient ist nach allgemeiner Überzeugung von Psychotherapieforschern eine wesentliche Bedingung für den Erfolg einer Psychotherapie (Bastine, 1992; Grencavage & Norcross, 1990; Horvath & Luborsky, 1993; Orlinski, Grawe & Parks, 1994). Der Gründer der Klientenzentrierten Psychotherapie, Carl Rogers, sah in ihr gar die allein notwendige und hinreichende Bedingung für den Therapieerfolg (Rogers, 1957).
