Abstract
The scope of the MPP for Navier-Stokes “Workshop” was to investigate the impact of parallel architectures on the usability of laminar Navier-Stokes solvers for compressible flows. Turbulent flows are also included as optional test-cases. In this text, a brief discussion as well as some main conclusions from the Workshop that took place in Sophia-Antipolis are presented. Emphasis will be given to the 2-D flow problem that has been examined by all contributors. Structured or unstructured grids, explicit or implicit methods and upwind or centered schemes have been used.
