Zusammenfassung

ICE ist ein Projekt im Telematic-Programm des 4. Rahmenprogramms der EU, in dem 22 Partner aus Dänemark, Deutschland, Estland, Griechenland, Großbritannien, Irland, Italien, Norwegen, Österreich, Portugal, Schweden, Slowenien und Spanien eine Public Key Zertifizierungsinfrastruktur für Europa auf der Basis von X.509 Zertifizierungsformaten und Zertifizierungsprozeduren bereitstellen werden. Das Projekt wird im November 1995 beginnen und eine Laufzeit von zwei Jahren haben. Koordinierender Partner im ICE Konsortium ist die GMD in Darmstadt (Institut TKT).
