Zusammenfassung
Ein Unternehmen finanziert seine Investitionen in der Weise, dass Kapitalgeber Zahlungsmittel zur Verfügung stellen und als Gegenleistung dafür bestimmte Rechtstitel erhalten, die man als Finanzierungstitel bezeichnet. Ein Finanzierungstitel als Inbegriff aller Rechte und Pflichten eines Kapitalgebers umfasst insbesondere die Anwartschaft auf zukünftige, mehr oder weniger unsichere Zahlungen (zum Beispiel Dividenden, Zinsen, Tilgung, Kapitalrückzahlung), möglicherweise aber auch die Verpflichtung, in Zukunft Zahlungen zu leisten (zum Beispiel bei Nachschusspflicht oder unbeschränkter Haftung).
