Summary
A pointwise version of the one-equation Baldwin-Barth model for the turbulence Reynolds number RT is proposed. The y+ dependence of the wall damping terms is replaced with a dependence on RT, that was obtained by comparison with the results of a direct simulation on a flat plate. The model is applied to the ONERA transonic channel testcase. The computed results are equivalent to those that can be obtained applying k — ε models.
