Zusammenfassung
Es ist mittlerweile bereits eine Binsenwahrheit, daß der Wohlfahrtsstaat mit wachsenden Problemen konfrontiert ist. Die Frage ist berechtigt, ob seine wichtigsten Ziele — gleicher einkommensunabhangiger Anspruch auf sozialstaatliche Dienstleistungen für alle, Vollbeschäftigung und Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter — aufrechterhalten werden können, oder ob die Wirtschaftslage uns in einen unentrinnbaren Prozeß des Abbaus sozialer Leistungen führen wird.
