Zusammenfassung
“Während in den vergangen Jahrzehnten Phantasie und Kreativität kein sonderlich gutes Ansehen hatten und angepaßtes Denken wichtiger war, haben sie in der letzten Zeit an Attraktivität gewonnen” (Baacke 1982: 146). Kreativität ist ’in’. Immer wieder begegnet man Schlagworten wie ’kreative Bewegung’, ’Kreativurlaub’, ’kreative Problembewältigung’ oder ’kreatives Leben’. Doch was ist ’Kreativität’ eigentlich? Wie wird dieses Konstrukt wissenschaftlich definiert und erfaßt? Mit welchen Methoden wird es gemessen? In einem ersten Schritt werden in diesem Artikel verschiedene Perspektiven und Zugehensweisen zum Problemfeld ’Kreativität’ vorgestellt. Dieser Aufsatz soll die Frage beantworten: Fördern Fernsehen und Computer die Kreativität von Kindern und Jugendlichen oder behindern diese Medien das ungewöhnliche Denken bei Heranwachsenden?
