Overview

This workshop was organized with the following objectives

  1. 1.

to focus attention on the problem of damage assessment and safety evaluation of time-varying and nonlinear systems using identification approaches, and

  2. 2.

to exchange information among a group of invited participants with expertise in a variety of subject areas ranging from mathematics via acoustics to engineering applications of fuzzy logic and neural networks.
