Ein bipolarer Transistor besteht aus drei aufeinanderfolgenden Zonen verschiedener Dotierung. Man unterscheidet entsprechend der Zonenfolge NPN- und PNP-Transistoren. Wir wollen uns vor allem mit dem Aufbau und der Wirkungsweise von NPN-Transistoren befassen.
