Zusammenfassung

Es war insbesondere die Ausdehnung der staatlichen Aktivität in den sozialen Bereich hinein, die in den letzten beiden Jahrzehnten die Politikentwicklung in den USA und in der Bundesrepublik gekennzeichnet hat. Welchen Politikbereich man auch in Augenschein nimmt, immer ging es darum, die Zuständigkeit für die Lösung alter Problembestände oder neuer perzipierter Problemlagen vermehrt in den staatlichen Verantwortungsbereich zu transferieren.
