Abstract
This paper presents the work done at ONERA — Aerodynamics Department and Aérospatiale — Missile Division, from February 1990 to January 1992 in the framework of the “Euromesh” project, CEC Brite/Euram Aeronautics Project AER00018. The work done has consisted in the development of a 3D optimization/adaption code based on a variational principle, and surface parametrization routines based on bi-cubic patches. Other works related to the applications of surface parametrization (displacement of nodes on surfaces, surface mesh optimization) are presented.
