Abstract
Various principles for edge detection which create edge images from gray level images could be seen in Chapter 13. As already outlined in Sect. 13.2, further algorithms exist. Some of them will be introduced in this chapter. The algorithm best suited for a given edge image actually depends upon the image data itself.
