Abstract

Before discussing the turbulent state, we examine the current convective instability, which was first studied by Kadomtsev.2) His theory is based on the approximation of quasi-neutrality \(\delta n_i = \delta n_e .\). Now we take account of the effect of the ion temperature. We use the linearized eq. (9), in which the quasi-neutrality condition is not necessary.
