Zusammenfassung
Strömungsvorgänge spielen in der Vakuumtechnik eine große Rolle. Beim Evakuieren oder Belüften eines Behälters muß das Gas (oder der Dampf) durch eine Leitung strömen. Die Kenntnis der Strömungsvorgänge ist daher für die Dimensionierung der Rohrleitung und der ganzen Vakuumanlage von ebenso großer Bedeutung wie für die Umrüstung bestehender Anlagen: Nicht selten wird die Funktion einer zuvor einwandfrei arbeitenden Vakuumanlage durch falsche Dimensionierung der Strömungskanäle erheblich beeinträchtigt. Aus diesen Gründen werden die Strömungsvorgänge im folgenden ausführlich und praxisnah behandelt. Allerdings wird es nicht möglich sein, im Rahmen dieser Darstellung auf nichtstationäre Strömungsvorgänge, wie sie in den Pumpleitungen von z. B. Sperrschieberpumpen und Drehkolbenpumpen auftreten, einzugehen, und ebenso können Schwingungen von Gasmassen in Rohrsystemen, soweit sie die Praxis betreffen, nur an geeigneter Stelle erwähnt werden.
