Zusammenfassung

In der Mathematik, Statistik usw. verwendet man zur verkürzten Darstellung oft auftretender Rechenoperationen bestimmte Symbole. So benutzt man das Zeichen ∑ als Kurzzeichen zur Symbolisierung einer Summe, das Symbol ∏ als Kurzzeichen für ein Produkt und das Symbol ∆ als Kurzzeichen zur Darstellung einer Differenz.
