Zusammenfassung
Umweltorientiertes Marketing, das auf eine stärkere Verbreitung umweltfreundlicherer Produkte (= UWF-Produkte)17 zielt, steht vor dem Grundproblem, daß das Umweltbewußtsein in der Gesamtbevölkerung zwar sehr hoch, konsequent umweltbewußtes Konsumentenverhalten aber nur relativ gering ausgeprägt ist. Erklärbar sind die Verhaltensdefizite aus den individuellen Nutzen-/Kostenfolgen, die Konsumenten beim Übergang von traditionellen Produkten auf UWF-Varianten wahrnehmen (vgl. Abbildung 1).
