Abstract
If M is a CR-submanifold of a complex manifold X and p ∈ M, we establish upper and lower estimates for v(p; M):= minq ∣ M is locally q-complete at p. The estimates are optimal in each of the following cases: M generic, M real-analytic, M maximally complex foliated.
