Summary

The first and second order relevelling data in the Upper Rhinegraben and Rhenish shield area are analyzed by the techniques of multivariate analysis in order to detect significant height changes in time. Influences like ground water table variations, secular changes of gravity and seismic activities are estimated by regression and correlation studies. The establishment of an integrated computation model for vertical crustal movements, in particular, the separation of artificial effects from the observed height changes are discussed.
