Summary

A multigrid Solution of the twodimensional compressible Navier-Stokes equations is described. The method rests on the non linear FAS multigrid procedure. Implicit upwind schemes are used as relaxation schemes. This method allows the computation of oscillation-free shocks without the need of introducing artiticial viscosity. Results are presented on the GAMM double-throat nozzte contlguration 1.
