Zusammenfassung

Eine Radiofabrik produziert jährlich 12000 Radios. Jedes Radio hat viele Knöpfe. Für alle wird der gleiche Knopf zum Ein- und Ausschalten verwendet. Also werden pro Jahr 12000 solche Knöpfe benötigt, oder 40 pro Arbeitstag. Die Knöpfe werden mit einer Maschine hergestellt, die auch alle anderen benötigten Knopfarten machen kann. Dieser spezielle Knopf zum Ein- und Ausschalten wird sehr schnell hergestellt, wenn die Maschine einmal für die entsprechende Produktion eingestellt ist. Vor der Montage des Knopfes an eines der 12000 Radios, die jährlich über das Förderband gehen, erfolgt normalerweise eine Lagerung. In einer schematischen Darstellung sehen wir die Folge:
