Biologisch aktives Licht — ein Adjuvans in der Behandlung therapieresistenter endogener Depressionen

Zusammenfassung

15 an endogener Depression erkrankte Patientinnen mit therapieresistentem Verlauf, nach Definition von Kielholz, unterzogen wir zusätzlich zur medikamentösen Basistherapie mit Clomipramin/Maprotilin oder Dibenzepin/Amitriptylin einer Behandlung mit biologisch aktivem Licht. Alle Patientinnen zeigten nach Applikation von Licht eine deutliche Besserung in den Fremd- und Selbstbeurteilungsskalen. In der Patientengruppe, die während der Lichttherapie Clomipramin/Maprotilin erhielt, war die Besserung statistisch hochsignifikant, in der mit Dibenzepin/Amitriptylin behandelten Gruppe an der Signifikanzgrenze. Kein statistisch signifikanter Unterschied im Ansprechen auf die Lichttherapie bestand zwischen Patientinnen mit monopolarem und bipolarem Verlauf. Die Plasmaspiegel der Antidepressiva waren nach der Zugabe von Licht im Vergleich zur Vorphase nicht signifikant verändert. In den EEGs zeigte sich während der Lichttherapie außer einer Zunahme der Betawellen-Aktivität keine Veränderung.
