Abstract
In an assignment generally the variable stated left of the assignment symbol and the value of the expression stated right of the assignment symbol must have the same type (see II/5.2). Especially only values of type integer may be assigned to integer variables. In addition the types of the operands of dyadic operators must be compatible (see II/5.1.2).
