Abstract

Few practitioners of public relations would argue with the importance of the leadership role in personifying the Organization. “Leadership” encompasses but is not limited to the Organization’s chief executive; it extends to all major management positions. This group of leaders constitutes the Organization’s power elite or dominant coalition (Hage, 1980).
