Zusammenfassung
Die Position und die Wirkung der Gruppe ‘Stichting Authentieke Midden-scholen’ (ST. A.M) in der Flämischen Gemeinschaft in Belgien versteht man nur vor dem Hintergrund historischer und gesellschaftlicher Entwicklungen. Die Geschichte der flämischen ‘authentieke middenscholen’ zeigt, daß eine innovative Unterrichtspraxis möglich ist und sich sogar nachhaltig im Unterrichtswesen eines Landes, in dem sich verschiedene scheinbar gegensätzliche Unterrichtsmodelle manifestieren, verankern kann.
