Summary

Confidentiality and authenticity are key requirements in many eGovernment scenarios. GFT Iberia has developed a secure collaboration platform for the General Notaries Council of Spain (GNCS) based on a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Based on 2-factor authentication with chip cards and an intuitive webmail, client notaries may encrypt and sign documents and transactions in full compliance with the legal requirements. This contribution covers both technological and business aspects.
