Abstract
A workflow control system greatly enhances the majority of office automation re-engineering efforts. There are many benefits to beginning with the workflow implementation and then following with the Business Process Re-engineering studies. Installation of a workflow system will require a thorough understanding of existing processes - not an estimate. Once installed and running, a workflow system can be easily modified and adjusted until it reflects the true working model of a department - not an approximation.
