Zusammenfassung
Die Existenzberechtigung für jede Form des Controllings, sei es die klassische Kostenrechnung oder objekt- und prozeßbezogene Kennzahlensysteme, ist die Bereitstellung von Informationen zur Analyse, Bewertung und Konzeption von Organisationen (Aufbau- und Ablauforganisationen) und insbesondere von Geschäftsprozessen. Controlling zum Selbstzweck oder ohne Einbindung in betriebliche Abläufe, ohne planende, konzipierende und steuernde Informationen verfolgt letztendlich keinen betriebswirtschaftlichen Zweck.
