Zusammenfassung
Bankmäßig gehandelte festverzinsliche Titel bilden den größten Block innerhalb der Vermögensanlagen von Versicherungsunternehmen1. Auch für Banken stellen diese Titel einen wichtigen Teil ihrer Aktiva dar. Ihre Kursbildung vollzieht sich in einer der Preisfindung an der Börse vergleichbaren transparenten Weise. Unter anlagepolitischen Gesichtspunkten sind deshalb die bankmäßig gehandelten festverzinslichen Titel unabhängig von ihrer wertpapierrechtlichen Verbriefung zusammenzufassen2. Anlageentscheidungen auf diesem Teilmarkt der festverzinslichen Titel bilden den Gegenstand der folgenden Überlegungen. Die Zusammenstellung von Portefeuilles aus festverzinslichen Titeln besteht wie jedes Investitionsproblem in einer Entscheidung über die Verwendung von Mitteln bei unvollständiger Information über die Zukunft. Im Mittelpunkt des Anlageproblems steht deshalb notwendigerweise die zuverlässige Prognose von Chancen und Risiken der einzelnen Titel. Insbesondere die Prognose der Zinsentwicklung zählt zu den Kernproblemen jeder Anlageentscheidung in festverzinslichen Titeln.
