Zusammenfassung
Die Erstbenutzer eines Produkts sehen sich mit Bedürfnissen konfrontiert, die dann nach einer gewissen Zeit ihre gesamte Branche betreffen. Der Erstbenutzer befaßt sich jedoch mit diesen Bedürfnissen bereits Jahre bevor das Gros der Branche damit konfrontiert wird. So sind also Firmen, die heute — so wie es morgen allgemein üblich sein wird — probehalber automatisierte Bürogeräte einsetzen, Erstbenutzer im Bereich der Büroautomatisierung. Entsprechend handelt es sich bei den ersten Verbrauchern, die sich einen Personal Computer für den Hausgebrauch kaufen, der dann ebenfalls später zum allgemeinen Kauftrend wird, um Erstbenutzer von Personal Computern.
