Zusammenfassung
The theory of business investment, which came of age with the famous work by Friedrich and Vera Lutz, has made great progress within the nearly twenty years since. The theory of a single investment has been integrated within the larger framework of capital budgeting, and risk and uncertainty have been introduced into the process of investment planning in an operational fashion.
