Zusammenfassung
In meiner Darstellung der Zusammensetzung der kleinen Gruppe von Mitgliedern des Kongresses werde ich mich häufig auf statistisches Material über den 1986 gewählten 100. Kongreß beziehen. Ich werde mich dabei zum einen mit der Frage befassen, inwieweit dieser Kongreß als „repräsentativ“ für die Kongresse der neueren Zeit angesehen werden kann, und zum anderen über längere Zeiträume zu beobachtende Entwicklungstrends erörtern.
