Zusammenfassung
Wie sieht eine zielentsprechende Finanzierungspolitik aus? Praxis und Literatur antworten: Der Unternehmer müsse bestimmte Finanzierungsgrundsätze beachten. Grundlegend für die herkömmlichen Finanzierungsgrundsätze sei vor allem der Bindungsgedanke: Kapital müsse so langfristig zur Verfügung gestellt werden, wie es in den Investitionsobjekten gebunden sei. Dieses Prinzip der »Fristenkongruenz« zwischen den Zahlungen der Finanzierungsart und den Zahlungen des Investitionsobjektes läßt sich auf die sogenannte »Goldene Bankregel« (Goldene Bilanzregel) zurückführen. Sie besagt, daß kurzfristig aufgenommene Gelder grundsätzlich nur kurzfristig ausgeliehen (investiert) werden dürfen, für langfristige Ausleihungen (Investitionen) müssen langfristige Mittel zur Verfügung stehen. Von diesem Grundsatz der Bindung von Finanzierungsmitteln an die Investitionen gibt es zahlreiche Verästelungen, die uns hier nicht interessieren1.

Gutenberg, Finanzen, S. 190–192, weist mit einer ähnlichen Rechnung nach, daß das Risiko mit wachsendem Verschuldungsgrad ständig steige und unabhängig vom Fremdkapitalzinsfuß sei. Er mißt dabei das Risiko in der Streuung der Renditen. Eine Abhängigkeit des Kapitalstrukturrisikos vom Zinssatz zeige sich erst, wenn ein anderes Risikomaß (z. B. das Verhältnis Streuung zu Erwartungswert) gewählt werde. Gutenberg übersieht dabei den Fall, daß der Hebel bei steigenden Zinssätzen in einer wachsenden Zahl von Zukunftslagen umschlagen wird. Darauf beruht das Kapitalstrukturrisiko. Die Streuung der Renditen ist keineswegs immer ein sinnvolles Risikomaß.
