Zusammenfassung

Der N-Turnover in landwirtschaftlich genutzten Böden wird wesentlich durch die mikrobielle Biomasse beeinflußt. Die Mikroorganismen steuern durch ihre Aktivität N-Mineralisations- und Immobilisationsprozesse (Transformator-Funktion) und stellen dabei gleichzeitig einen bedeutenden Pool an leicht mineralisierbaren N-Verbindungen dar (Jansson und Persson 1982). Durch die Bestimmung der mikrobiellen Biomasse kann daher ein Beitrag zur Charakterisierung der N-Umsetzungsprozesse im Boden erbracht werden.
