Zusammenfassung
Lebensqualität wird zunehmend als das Kriterium für Gesundheitsförderung verwendet. Einigkeit besteht weitgehend darüber, daß positiv erlebte Lebensqualität nicht nur körperliche, seelische und soziale Gesundheit, sondern auch günstige Lebensbedingungen voraussetzt.
Die vorliegende empirische Arbeit versucht das tägliche Erleben im natürlichen ökologischen Kontext mit neuen Ansätzen zu erfassen. Die Dimensionen und Formen der Lebensqualität, ihre Dynamik und Selbstorganisation, sowie mögliche Kontrollmechanismen werden dabei mit verschiedenen neuartigen Methoden analysiert.
Diese neue Sichtweise liefert eine elegante und relativ überzeugende Erklärung für Lebensqualität als emergentes Phänomen auf einer makroskopischen Ebene, welches aus der Selbstorganisation psychologischer und verhaltensmäßiger Anpassung an einen individuell gegebenen ökologischen Kontext auf der mikroskopischen Ebene entsteht. Daraus wird verständlich, daß eine gegebene Art von Lebensqualität dazu tendiert, sich aufrecht zu erhalten. Dies vermag auch zu erklären, wieso bei der Einführung gewisser Maßnahmen zur Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention mit Widerständen zu rechnen ist.
