Zusammenfassung

Dieser Beitrag problematisiert die bisherigen Vorgehensweisen in der Gesundheitskommunikation bei der Bekämpfung der Hauptzivilisationskrankheiten unserer Zeit — koronare Herzkrankheit (KHK), Krebs und Erkrankungen des rheumatischen Formenkreises (kurz: Rheuma-Krankheiten) — sowohl hinsichtlich ihrer Wirksamkeit als auch ihrem Inhalt nach. Als Alternative wird vorgeschlagen, die „Selbstwirksamkeit“zum Kerninhalt der Gesundheitskommunikation zu machen.
