Zusammenfassung
In einem interdisziplinären Forschungsprojekt haben Psychologen und Informatiker das reale Benutzerverhalten von 24 Werkzeugmachern und Mechanikern an einem interaktiven CAM-System untersucht. Mit einer Methodenkombination (On-line Befragungen, Logfile Recording, Lautes Denken, Videokonfrontation) wurden in einer Feldstudie Daten über den Umgang mit einem kontext-spezifischen Helpsystem gesammelt. Die Vor-und Nachteile einer solchen On-line assistance werden beschrieben.
