Das neue Business Design ist in der Regel mit einer schlankeren Organisationsform verbunden. Sie setzt auf eine stärkere Prozeßorientierung und verlangt direktere, schnellere Kommunikation und Kooperation. Teamarbeit soll hier schließlich die notwendige Effektivität und Effizienz gewährleisten.
