Zusammenfassung
Die Frage nach dem Verhältnis von ökonomischer Theorie und Personalwirtschaftslehre ist angesichts von vielfältigen mikroökonomischen Theorieentwicklungen der letzten Jahre zweifellos aktuell. Sie ist zudem auch reizvoll, weil sie einem national und international3 gesehen schwierigen und spannungsgeladenen Verhältnis nachgeht. Sie birgt aber gerade deshalb auch Gefahren. Nicht zuletzt die teilweise heftigen Reaktionen auf die knappen Bemerkungen, die Herbert Hax 1990 auf der Frankfurter Tagung vorgetragen hat4, machen deutlich, daß eine fruchtbare, Mißverständnisse vermeidende Diskussion der Fragestellung nicht einfach ist. Wenn es aber nicht gelingen würde, zumindest eine solche Diskussion in Gang zu setzen, dann hätten alle Beteiligten nur zu verlieren — diejenigen, die von der Fruchtbarkeit ökonomischer Analysen personalwirtschaftlicher Fragestellungen überzeugt sind, genauso wie jene, die allein einem solchen Versuch schon distanziert gegenüberstehen.5
