Arbeitsteilung als Problem der Betriebs- und der Volkswirtschaftslehre

Zusammenfassung

In der klassischen Schule stand die Arbeitsteilung im Vordergrund der Theoriebildung. Im neunzehnten Jahrhundert wurden ihre vielseitigen Aspekte vertieft analysiert. Viele heute fuhrende Lehrbücher nehmen jedoch kaum noch Notiz von ihr. Der Verfasser plädiert für einen Wandel der Perspektive hin zur Zwillingsidee, daß Markt und Organisation zwei Erscheinungsformen der Arbeitsteilung sind und einer vertieften Analyse im Rahmen einer von Volks- und Betriebswirten betriebenen Kooperationsforschung bedürfen.

Abstract

The division of labor has been at the core of theorizing in the classical school and a heavily discussed topic in the nineteenth century. Nowadays leading textbooks do not pay much attention to the twin aspects of the division of labor via markets and via organizations. The author proposes an integrative approach among theorists of the firm and of the economy focusing on the theory of economic cooperation.
