Abstract
The rapid internationalization of equity trading has been documented in other chapters of this book. The fact is that an increasing number of companies are listing their securities in multiple markets in order to meet the needs of global investors who seek to diversify their holdings.
Portions of this chapter appeared in an earlier version in The Journal of the American Society of CLU and ChFC, March 1997.
